Celeste began the study of Shiatsu massage with her teacher, Saul Goodman, at the International School of Shiatsu beginning in 1984. Over the course of her studies, Saul Goodman developed Shiatsu Shin Tai. Celeste had the opportunity of watching Saul’s creative process first-hand. She now teaches Shiatsu Shin Tai workshops and has assisted in Shiatsu, Shin Tai, and teacher training courses in Shin Tai with Saul. She received a BA in liberal arts from St. John’s College and received her certification in elementary education from Bowie State University. She holds an LMT through the therapeutic massage program at AACC,and is an approved provider for CE’s through NCBTMB. She is a registered yoga teacher in Maryland. Celeste is the mother of three grown children and wife to her husband of 32 years.
